An 18-year-old is said to have been injured on Sunday night in a parking lot in front of the Hofer branch in Koblach in Vorarlberg by an unknown person with a machete about 40 centimeters long. The crime was preceded by an argument between two groups, each consisting of four to five men.
The parties involved are said to have had an argument in a disco in Koblach. The actual crime is said to have taken place around 3:15 a.m. The strangers then fled in a green Peugeot with Dornbirner number plates towards Götzis. The injured person received first aid from the rescue team and was taken to the hospital in Feldkirch.
The perpetrator is said to be a 1.75 to 1.80 meters tall, strong man with a beard, dark hair and dark skin. The exact background is still unclear. The Götzis Police Inspectorate asked for information.
