Date:

On Wednesday afternoon, while storing furniture in his hometown of Innerschwand in Upper Austria, a 36-year-old fell into a two and a half meter deep shaft. He was flown to the Vöcklabruck clinic.

A 36-year-old from Innerschwand was with three other people clearing furniture at a private construction site in Innerschwand around 5:50 p.m. on Wednesday. While carrying a chest of drawers through the garage to a shaft leading to the basement, the 36-year-old tripped and fell into the six-foot shaft, where his shoulder touched the concrete floor.

The man was injured to an unknown extent and, after being rescued by the FF Innerschwand, was flown in a rescue helicopter to the Vöcklabruck Salzkammergut clinic.
