The Basque Minister of Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment, Arantxa Tapia, has asked Siemens Gamesa to listen to possible offers from Basque companies before approaching the sale of the two factories.

He added that the Basque government has instructed the company’s management to evaluate the possible offers of Basque companies before closing a sale transaction, because “to exist“and it would be important to take that into account.

He has said he hopes the sales that can be produced will be “in the best possible way”: “That’s our goal and I think of the company itself because it depends” on the machines of these factories, he concluded.
