The Vienna Police’s “Twitter Marathon” is entering its fifth round this year. Also this year, the executive is actively supported with their eager chirping about their operations in the federal capital. Because this time, the city of Vienna, the fire brigade, professional rescue services and the emergency response group are also participating in the 24-hour campaign. Since 7 am, the emergency services have shown what to do on an ordinary Friday in a metropolis with a veritable deluge of Twitter messages and also on Instagram.
For the first time, this campaign will also be extended to the new Instagram account – imagery in the form of photo contributions, stories and reels will be online here shortly after the operations. The motto of the social media marathon: “Together instead of alone”. However, the aim of the campaign remained the same: to provide insight and bring the daily work of the organizations closer to the population.
