On April 15, a traffic accident occurred between two motorcyclists on Hagenauer Landesstraße 1100 in Mühlheim am Inn (Upper Austria) as a result of a rear-end collision when turning to the left. According to the UKH Salzburg, the 56-year-old German succumbed to serious head injuries on April 16.
A 47-year-old German piloted his motorcycle on April 15 at about 12:30 p.m. as the first of a group of eight motorcycles on Hagenauer Landesstraße towards Geinberg. In the vicinity of Gimpling, municipality of Mühlheim am Inn, the man wanted to turn left towards Kirchdorf am Inn. A 56-year-old compatriot driving directly behind him may have noticed the braking maneuver too late and hit the 47-year-old from behind.
Flew to Salzburg
The 56-year-old was seriously injured in the fall and was flown by emergency helicopter to the accident hospital in Salzburg after first aid. The 47-year-old suffered injuries of unknown nature in the accident and was taken to Braunau Hospital.
