Salt spreading and snow removal are coming up much earlier than usual. Not surprising in Bad Ischl, where political bickering is part of everyday life.
In Bad Ischl the leftovers fly again. It sparked debate over the winter service, which is currently unavailable and secured, according to a municipality. Alderman Josef Loidl of the FPÖ and city administrator Ines Schiller (SPÖ) are responsible for this, we reported.
Mayor locates clumsy attack
The mayor suspects that the next clumsy attack on the Ischl future list is behind the spread of these rumours. “Of course there is a winter service in the municipal area. This is carried out by the municipal service yard, which in principle guarantees snow removal.” The “correct” winter service from an external provider is arranged before the start of winter.
Schiller is also furious with accusations that she has messed up the winter service order, which costs the city about 200,000 euros a year, and has caused chaos: “In the service committee, which Loidl leads, councilor Bauer of the Ischl future list has Expertise offered because he is well versed in this area. Nevertheless, I had the advertisement checked by a lawyer. Since there was already resentment among the winter service providers beforehand, I wanted to play it safe. The devil is often in the details. And so it was this time too,” explains Schiller.
revocation of the offer
In order to avoid points of reference or doubts, she has requested the withdrawal of the tender from the municipal council. “It was a necessary emergency brake. City councilor Bauer didn’t actually speak at the meeting. Now they present me as the culprit. The fact is, where the list gets in the way, something goes wrong,” said the red city manager.
