In Austria, 2,490 new infections with the coronavirus were reported on Monday before Sunday. Three other people infected with the virus died. Compared to the week before, there were 4,619 nine infections on the same day.
The number of corona patients in the normal wards decreased by 52 (a total of 1172 occupied beds), the number of patients in intensive care remained the same (a total of 85 occupied beds).

The data reflects what happens between midnight and midnight of the respective event day before wider.
