There is nothing that does not exist: A 24-year-old Tyrolean broke into a supermarket in Rum near Innsbruck on Tuesday evening – and went shopping in comfort. After the suspect grabbed the shopping cart, the handcuffs clicked as she left the store.
Shortly after midnight, the locals were engaged in mischief in the supermarket in Rum (Innsbruck-Land district). With several shopping carts pushed together, the young woman broke open the glass front door and then stepped into the store.
Silent alarm activated
The 24-year-old suspect then rattled through the shelves and filled her shopping cart with countless groceries and other items. Her “bad luck”: by breaking open the front door, the woman had activated the silent alarm.

When the alleged perpetrator wanted to leave the supermarket after her night of shopping, the police were already waiting for her. The local was confronted and provisionally arrested. After the interrogation, she was released by order of the public prosecutor.
