There was a nationwide manhunt. Two suspects were caught when they reappeared at their care facility in Linz.
The exact course of events is not yet entirely clear. According to initial information, the two 13-year-olds and the 17-year-old are said to have held a gun at a taxi driver’s temple in Linz’s main square around 12:30 p.m. and then dragged him from his car. Then the trio would have gone to Kronstorf. Due to the direction of travel, not only the Cobra, but also the police in Lower Austria and Styria were informed.
