Congressman Imran Khan has been expelled from the Conservative Party after being found guilty of sexually assaulting a boy. Representative Wakefield still does not know his fate after being convicted of a crime at Southwark Crown Court.
But a conservative party spokesman told the Palestinian Authority tonight that the 48-year-old had been expelled with “immediate effect”. A jury found Khan guilty after learning how he forced a teenager to drink gin and the tonic, took him and put him on a bed and asked him to look at pornography before attacking a home in Staffordshire in January 2008.
The victim appealed to the police after Khan helped Prime Minister Boris Johnson secure a large majority in the so-called “red wall” in Wakefield that formed the heart of the Labor Party in the Midlands and northern England. Khan was held by the Conservative Party until the end of the trial, and the decision to expel him was made after the jury’s decision was confirmed.
His lawyer team has pledged to appeal the convicted man, a move that could delay a potential by-election. Khan, who was 34 at the time of the crime, will be expelled from the House of Commons if he is sentenced to more than a year in prison, or an impeachment petition can be filed.
The judge, Mr. Just Baker, said he would deliver a lengthy ruling on schedule. The victim, 29, told the jury that she was “scared, weak, numb, shocked and amazed” after Khan touched his legs and feet and a “hair width” of his cattle approached as they slept .. on the upper bunk bed.
He escaped with his parents and a police report was drawn up at that time, but no further action was taken because the young man did not want to file a formal complaint. But he told the jury that “everything is back” when he learned Khan would run for the general election in December 2019.
Tory Hope literally parachuted into the precinct in a skydiving trick after being elected to replace Anthony Calvert the week before the election. A few days before the vote, the victim said he called the Conservative Party press service to tell him what Khan had done to him, but added: “I didn’t take him seriously.”
Khan, who was questioned by Staffordshire Police before being carefully questioned at the station due to “Covid protocols in force at the time”, denied the sexual assaults. The gay and Muslim lawmaker said he only touched the elbow of a Catholic teenager when he was “very upset” after he talked about his confused sexuality.
Khan said he tried to be “nice” and “helpful”, but the teen was offended and “angry” when the topic of pornography surfaced. However, the jury ratified his victim and returned the guilty verdict after about five hours of deliberation.
The judge released Khan on bail and said, “He made it clear that all options for sentencing, including immediate arrest, will be considered by the court.” Khan would not comment on his departure from court, but his lawyers said he would keep his innocence and his title.
The Labor Party demanded the immediate resignation of Parliament as the opposition party called for by-elections in the hope of returning to their former lands. Conservative MPs Crispin Blunt and Sir Peter Bottomley, father of the House of Commons, attended Monday’s hearing, while Adam Holloway III, a personal statement used to protect Khan.
The victim said he “clearly” remembers the bottle of gin Khan he brought with him to the party, the smell of alcohol in a glass bowl and the buzzing of bubbles when Khan forced him to drink a cocktail. He said Khan was watching him do the lift, telling him to look at pornography and telling him he was “good looking” and the “love whisper” in his ear was “really disgusting and snotty”.
The victim said he appeared to be sleeping in the loft bed before Khan reached the wooden net and touched his feet. “He was drunk because I heard his hum,” she said.
The complainant said the “slow coloring” continued when Khan “made the bed” and “raised his foot”, though he asked the deputy to stop. He “froze,” he said, adding, “I got angry, got out of bed and ran as fast as I could.”
The boy’s brother, who was 18 at the time, told the jury he was also the victim of an ‘attack’ when Khan asked him if he was wearing a ‘real Scottish’ jacket – a reference to the tradition of not wearing intimate underwear – by the raise both hands…
Staffordshire Police received the arrestee this evening. The spokesperson said: “We know how difficult it is to attend and report these crimes, but it is imperative that those responsible for these crimes be brought to justice.
We want to commend the victim for informing him of the crime committed against him – he showed real courage and bravery in that. This case had a profound impact on the victim and his family for many years. “We stand ready to provide redress to victims and call on all victims of sexual violence to report this directly to the police at 101 and you will be able to speak confidentially with our professional agents.”
