Action for the fire brigade Thursday evening in the Tyrolean Stubai Valley: After a fire alarm in an apartment building in Fulpmes went off, about 100 guests rushed out and got to safety. Fortunately, the Florianis were able to release everything quickly.
Shortly before 9:30 p.m. smoke suddenly appeared in the apartment building. A fire detector triggered an alarm – an emergency call was made! At that time there were three tour groups in the building with a total of about 100 people. “Most of the guests had already left the house before the fire service arrived and were waiting at a collection point,” the police said.
Quickly clear everything after shock
The Florianis then went in search of the source of the fire – and luckily were able to release everything quickly. “According to information from an engaged electrician, a cable in the electrical distribution box may have malfunctioned due to a technical defect. The distribution box could then be secured by a specialist,” the researchers continued.
More than 40 emergency services on site
Fortunately nothing worse happened. No one was injured. And the guests were relieved to be able to return to their rooms after the shock. The Fulpmes fire brigade was deployed with four vehicles and about 40 members, the ambulance and the police.
