“Everyone makes mistakes” – ex-minister seeks “forgiveness” in the TV jungle

Date:

British ex-minister of health Matt Hancock apologized for mistakes made during the corona pandemic on the TV show Jungle Camp. He hopes for forgiveness, the 44-year-old said in the program that was broadcast late Friday evening.

Hancock resigned in June 2021 because he violated self-imposed corona rules with an affair with a close colleague. “It was a mistake because I fell in love with someone,” he said.

“I made a very big mistake”
After being told by a fellow cast member to sit alone and not hug anyone at her aunt’s funeral, Hancock said, “What I’m really looking for is a little bit of forgiveness. Everybody makes mistakes and I have a really big created.”

Hancock’s participation in the TV jungle camp had led to much criticism because the ex-minister is still a member of the British Parliament. His conservative faction suspended him.

Hancock for the third time in the jungle test
On Friday, the member of parliament was nominated for the fourth time in a row by TV viewers for a so-called jungle test. In the third challenge, Hancock had to eat, among other things, a camel’s penis, which he described as “soft and crunchy”, as well as a sheep’s vagina and a cow’s anus.

“The consistency is terrible and you’re thinking about what you’re eating all the time. I don’t recommend that as a main course,” Hancock said. Pop star Boy George (61) was also selected for the test, he had to eat various vegetarian ‘specialties’, such as a fermented duck egg.
