The Joint Commission of the Economic Agreement, made up of the Basque Government, the Provincial Councils of Araba, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, and the Government of Spain, has new quota method for him five-year period 2022-2026which sets the base year quota to 1472 million euros. In total they have achieved 15 agreements of fiscal and financial content. For example, the instrumentation of finance management Minimum vital incomeas agreed by the Mixed Transfer Commission in March 2022.

The healthy one sets the Liquid quota 2021 (1403 million euros), the Financial compensation (final 2021 and provisional 2022) and the Assessment of active employment policies (final 2021 and provisional 2022).

In tax matters, the alignment of two new tax figures. Likewise, the agreement includes the adaptation of the Basque Economic Agreement to the changes introduced in the tax on fluorinated greenhouse gases.

With regard to budgetary stability, the Joint Committee of the Economic Agreement has ratified the agreement on budgetary stability for the year 2023 signed on September 28 by the General State Administration and the Basque Autonomous Community.

Once the Joint Commission of the Economic Agreement has been held, both its amendment and the adoption of the new methodology of the Quota must be incorporated into the Cortes Generales in the form of laws single article.
