Three boys went on a dangerous trip in Vorarlberg on Saturday. There has been an accident. An eight-year-old boy was trapped in the car.
An illegal trip on Saturday ended badly: a 16-year-old boy “borrowed” his father’s car. Also on board: the eight-year-old brother. The child was probably not wearing a seatbelt, his 16-year-old brother was behind the wheel. He had stolen his father’s car in Fussach in the late afternoon, the police announced late in the evening.
Together with his brother and a 14-year-old boy, he drove to the nature reserve in Fussach, where he lost control of the vehicle due to excessive speed in a gentle curve. The car went off the road, flipped over and landed in a water-filled ditch. While the driver and the 14-year-old were able to free themselves from the vehicle with minor injuries, the 8-year-old had to be freed from the car by the fire department. The vehicle was a total loss.
