Fishing requires freedom from stress – and a lot of feeling. Fish ponds are more popular than ever. The Tyrolean Fisheries Association currently lists 25 of these still waters on its website. The pleasure of the quick catch is great, but the patience is even less. But how do you fish well? The “Krone” accompanied two hungry youngsters to the larch pond in Hopfgarten in the Kitzbühel district.
Julian (18) from Kematen and Florian (15) from Kirchbichl are hungry. For fishing and for fishing, preferably fried. The “Krone” was on board when we went to the larch pond in the “Cool Air”, a fish pond in Hopfgarten next to the Brixentaler Ache. A popular cycle path leads past the idyll – ideal for a fish tasting stop.
