In Slovenia it will be cheaper to refuel from Tuesday. The government lowered regulated fuel prices at highway gas stations. A liter of diesel now costs 1,623 euros, 9.5 cents less than before. Ordinary petrol will be 1.8 cents cheaper to 1,464 euros per litre.
The new prices, which are set every two weeks, will apply until December 5, the Slovenian Ministry of Economic Affairs announced on Monday. Gasoline prices in Slovenia are regulated only at off-highway gas stations; the operators set the prices at the gas stations along the highway.
Slovenia last tightened the fuel price screw on 8 November. Normal petrol had then risen by 5.2 cents to 1,482 euros per litre, while the price of diesel had fallen by 5.7 cents to 1,718 euros.
