After the job losses in the Corona crisis, the AUA parent company Lufthansa is focusing on growth and is planning a total of 20,000 new employees. There are vacancies in more than 45 professional groups. We are mainly looking for technicians, IT specialists, lawyers, pilots and flight attendants.
“We clearly show that the Lufthansa Group is looking to the future with ambition,” said Lufthansa Chief Human Resources Officer Michael Niggemann on Monday at the start of a campaign through which the group is recruiting new employees. “To be at the top of the industry, we need dedicated and motivated employees for a variety of tasks and challenges,” continues Niggemann.
The Lufthansa Group had 107,000 employees at the end of September. CEO Carsten Spohr recently referred to the strong demand after the Corona crisis and announced that about 20,000 new employees would be hired across the group by the end of 2023. In addition, billions in investments in new aircraft, equipment and IT are planned, the CEO said in early September.
