A young woman traveling with three friends drove off the road in Straden (Southeast Styria district) on Saturday night and slid over an embankment into a ditch. All occupants, except the driver, were injured in the accident.
Shortly before midnight, the 19-year-old was on the L274 from Nagelsdorf towards Kronnersdorf. Inside the vehicle were a 20-year-old and two men (20 and 21).
Fell into the ditch
For reasons unexplained at this time, the vehicle entered a left turn on its right shoulder and slid down a sloping embankment into the ditch.
Three passengers injured
Everyone involved in the accident was able to get out of the car on their own. Everyone except the driver was injured to an unknown degree. The injured were taken to the LKH Feldbach for further examination. An alcohol test on the young driver was negative.
