Passersby found three bodies near a bike path in a park on the northern outskirts of Prague. Police said Saturday evening that they assume a violent crime.
Due to ongoing investigations, she declined to provide information on the age and gender of the dead on Sunday. Autopsy results on all three deaths are expected next week.
Mayor calms down population
One of the assumptions of the investigation was that it was a double homicide followed by suicide. The mayor of Prague-Cakovice, Jiri Vintiska, reassured the population on Facebook: “There is no longer any danger at the moment.” A police spokesman told CTK news agency that none of the dead have been reported missing.
