Trial begins for 2016 Brussels attacks

On March 22, 2016, two explosions occurred at Zaventem airport, near Brussels, killing 16 people and injuring 100. A third explosion at Maalbeek metro station, just 200 meters from the European Commission’s headquarters, killed another 16 people and injured another 100.

The largest test ever in Belgium will take place in the buildings that housed NATO headquarters until 2018, and It takes between six and nine months.
