“More than 100 missiles” – Russians have launched the next wave of attacks

Date:

There is another national air raid alarm in Ukraine. The Russian army has probably launched its next wave of attacks. Several Ukrainian media reported that “more than 100” missiles had been fired by long-range bombers and warships. “Don’t ignore the alarm,” Andriy Yermak, chief of cabinet of President Volodymyr Zelensky, appealed to the civilian population.

In the meantime, several guided missiles are said to have hit. Explosions were reported in the regions of Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia and Poltava. Nothing is known about damage or deaths.

People flee to the subway system
In fact, countless people went to bomb shelters or to the metro stations in the capital Kiev (see tweet below). Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, the subway system has served as a refuge for thousands of people. According to information from the British “Guardian”, missiles are expected to hit Kiev shortly after 2 p.m. if they are not intercepted in time.

Explosions at two Russian airports
Explosions had only occurred for a few hours at a Russian airport and air base. No further information is available on the cause of the explosion at the airport near the city of Ryazan, which killed three people. “There was such a roar that the windows were shaking,” an eyewitness told Ryazan News.

Two aircraft were killed in a drone strike on a military airport in the Russian region of Saratov. The Russian airbase Engels-2 was hit. The base is located 400 km southeast of Moscow. It houses Tu-95 strategic bombers and was the launch pad for numerous attacks on Ukraine.
