An unknown violent boy injured an eleven-year-old boy during a Krampus run in Windhaag/Perg (Upper Austria). The student had disguised himself as a castle demon and had been grabbed and shaken by the man so hard that he had to be taken to the hospital.
A previously unknown perpetrator wounded an 11-year-old from Perg disguised as a Krampus, or castle demon, around 8 p.m. on Saturday. The boy had participated in the Krampusloop in Windhaag near Perg.
Injured in the cervical spine
The stranger grabbed the eleven-year-old by the horns of the mask and yanked it. The student sustained injuries to his cervical spine and had to be taken to Kepler University Hospital in Linz. The police are asking for information that could lead to the identification of the perpetrator.
