The employees of the Tyrolean Advice Center for Violence Prevention know the fatal mix that can cause the camel to come back into families. “Usually it’s long-standing conflicts that escalate at some point. It’s not uncommon for alcohol or another addictive substance to be involved. It’s not uncommon for financial adversity to fuel the negative spiral,” said Alexander Arnheiter, team leader at the advisory center, which was established in September 2021 and is represented in all districts with a total of 16 employees.
