In the early hours of the morning on Saturday, four young men took a taxi after visiting a disco in Weiz, Styria. The taxi driver (48) wanted to break off the ride prematurely because of her behavior – whereupon one of the men punched her. Police are now looking for the passengers.
At around 4:15 a.m., four men, believed to be between the ages of 16 and 20, got into a taxi at a nightclub in Weiz. The driver has to take the four young men to a forest behind the outdoor swimming pool in Gersdorf an der Feistritz.
Using wild drugs
According to the 48-year-old taxi driver, the passengers behaved remarkably while driving and they would have boasted that they wanted to use drugs later. The driver was probably suspicious about this, she wanted the men to get off right at the outdoor pool and not take them to the wooded area.

Suddenly one of the men hit her on the head from behind with his fist, the woman was dazed for a moment, the passengers fled in the meantime. The taxi driver drove back to Pischelsdorf out of fear and only made an emergency call there. The perpetrators could not be found when the police arrived at the crime scene and are still on the run.
