Police officers in Innsbruck had to deal with a rabid and especially biting guy on Sunday evening: after the Algerian (27) rioted at an emergency shelter and threatened the alerted patrol, he bit an officer in the thigh when he was arrested.
At around 12:30 p.m., the 27-year-old Algerian went completely crazy at the emergency shelter for the homeless. He rebelled and tried to smash the windows of the front door with a garbage can.
The man approached officials with his fists
The alerted police quickly arrived and asked the troublemaker to calm down. “The suspect then became even more aggressive, shouted loudly and approached the officers with clenched fists,” said the management.
Kicked at the police
But that’s not all: “After the officers had pronounced the provisional arrest, the man vehemently defended himself against it and kicked the intervening officers uncontrollably with his legs. Due to his enormous resistance, the man had to be carried to the radio patrol vehicle, where he an officer violently bit the thigh,” the investigators continued.
The suspect was then taken to the police station. He was released after questioning.
