Activists from environmental organization Extinction Rebellion struck again on Monday afternoon. This time they painted the entrance area of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WKO) in Vienna-Wieden green.
With this “aid action” they want to help the ATES “in Christmas spirit” with “greenwashing”, “because their own commitments in this area are so unbelievable”, according to a broadcast.
According to the participants, Austria’s economy is one of the most climate-damaging in the world, citing the evaluation of the Sustainable Index, according to which Austria is currently ranked 155th out of 165 places.

“The Chamber of Commerce has always stood in the way of an effective and socially just climate policy.
