Gross domestic product in Navarre grew by 3.2% in the third quarter of 2022 compared to the same quarter of 2021, up from 4.5% in the previous quarter.
It is an estimate that corroborates the estimate obtained in the Advance of the Navarra Quarterly Accounts conducted by Nastat, the Statistical Institute of Navarra. In the same period, Spain grew by 4.4% and the EU-27 by 2.5%.
In the third quarter, the sector of the building (3.9%) and fundamental market services (6.5%) reflect the most notable growth in the period, with hospitality and administrative activities and support services reflecting the greatest momentum.
Industrial activity weakened its growth rate to 2% compared to the same quarter last year and non-market services declined by 3.6%.
In the third quarter of 2022, the position moderates the growth rate to 2.4%. Paid jobs, for their part, increased by 2.2%.
The primary sector shows employment growth of 0.7% compared to the third quarter of 2021 and industry 1%. Market services reflect the most notable growth at 4.3%, although the pace of growth slowed compared to the previous quarter. Finally, construction employment reflects an increase of 1.4% and non-market services fell by 0.2%.
