In Austria, 4,606 new corona infections were reported on Friday for the previous day. A decrease in the number of patients was registered in the hospitals. Twelve other people infected with the virus died.
There was a decrease of 53 patients in the normal wards (a total of 1133), in the intensive care units the number of patients remained unchanged – 61 are cared for in the intensive care unit.

The data reflects what happens between midnight and midnight of the event in question day before wider.
