For the family of the 42-year-old from Natternbach, Christmas was in the dark. Because since the night of December 9 to 10, Roland K. has disappeared. The man was last seen at around 3:40 am in restaurant “Rox” in Linz. He celebrated Christmas with friends. But then the trail is lost.
Search with drones
Family and friends launched a major search and put up posters in the city of Linz. Police reviewed cell phone records and also launched searches – the largest just before Christmas on Dec. 22. The banks of the Danube between Lentos and Arcotel were intensively searched with drones, boats and divers – without success.
New trial
Try again on Christmas Day. The police take advantage of the better weather conditions and send a helicopter to search for the missing person. – in the hope that a trace of Roland K. will be found. In fact, it is now believed that Roland K. was the victim of a tragic accident.
