The police in Haselsdorf-Tobelbad (Graz-Surrounding District) are looking for an unknown perpetrator: he is suspected of setting fire to a nativity scene in the city. The wooden house in which it was exhibited stands in a parking lot next to the fire station. An immediately started search yielded nothing.
The controls prevented the flames from spreading to the apartment building
On Christmas Eve at 11:14 p.m., the alarm went off for the Florianis in Haselsdorf-Tobelbad. They had to move with 12 emergency services to the nearby parking lot – the community nursery was ablaze! “The prompt intervention of our comrades prevented the flames from spreading to a neighboring apartment building and vehicles parked in the parking lot,” reports Robert Krenn of the Haselsdorf-Tobelbad fire brigade of the “Krone”.
