After the brutal murder of a pregnant girlfriend and the theft of the unborn baby, a court in the US state of Texas has sentenced the 29-year-old perpetrator to death. This is evident from the documents of the court in the small town of New Boston, east of Dallas. In October 2020, the woman killed her heavily pregnant friend in her home with more than 100 knife wounds, cut open her abdomen and removed the unborn child.
The victim’s three-year-old daughter left her asleep in another room. The perpetrator was picked up in her car a few kilometers from the crime scene. She claimed she had given birth to a child by the side of the road, but was no longer breathing. The woman and baby were taken to a hospital, where the fetus was pronounced dead.
Perpetrator feigned pregnancy
For months, the now 29-year-old had been telling her boyfriend and relatives that she was pregnant. She reported on the online networks about her alleged pregnancy and bought a fake silicone belly. In reality, however, she was unable to have children after a hysterectomy.
According to investigators, she had begun searching stores and maternity wards for pregnant women a few weeks before the murder. Shortly before the performance, she watched numerous videos about childbirth and caesarean sections.
