Pelvic fracture – seriously injured after a dispute between drivers

Date:

The nerves were all on edge: a 38-year-old from Ried and a 54-year-old from Ennser collided just before Linz on the B1. Both drivers eventually got out of their vehicles, the argument even ended at Kepler University Hospital.

Friday evening around 10.30 pm on the B1 near Asten. Because the 38-year-old would have blinded the Ennser (54) driving in front of him several times, a wild argument ensued between the two drivers. The 54-year-old braked hard several times and then slammed on the brakes. The driver behind it could only avoid a rear-end collision thanks to emergency braking.

It came as it was supposed to: the two brawlers got out of their vehicles. A heated discussion ensued, the older of the two men is said to have even tried to physically attack his opponent.

Then it became dangerous: the 38-year-old got back in the car and drove away. He pushed his opponent against his car, held it and injured him. “I didn’t notice that,” he said later in the interrogation to the officers who had examined him in Linz. The 54-year-old suffered a broken pelvis and other injuries in the incident and had to be taken to Kepler University Clinic.

Both drivers deny the traffic violations, although there are witnesses. You have been reported.
