Wild scenes at 4 a.m. in Linz. After an argument, a 37-year-old drove towards a person who was able to save himself by stepping aside. The driver was found a little later – an alcohol test showed 1.82 promille.
It is still unclear why the Syrian living in Vienna and the other person in Langgasse got into a fight. According to witness statements, the man drove his car towards this unknown person. The person, who was later no longer at the scene of the accident and of whom there is no personal description, was able to get to safety in time by stepping aside and the 37-year-old collided with a parked car.

He then drove on and was stopped by the police patrol “SIG” on Waldeggstrasse. An alcohol test carried out yielded a value of 1.82 promille. The driver’s license and car keys were taken from the driver for the time being – he is reported several times.
