In the night from Wednesday to Wednesday, there were several fires in a municipal building on Rennbahnweg in Vienna-Donaustadt. Concerned neighbors immediately alerted the emergency services and fled the buildings.
The fire first spread in a cellar and then in the stairwell. A short time later, numerous fires also broke out in other cellars on various stairs.
No injuries
The fire brigade went out with a large contingent and had declared alert level two. With the help of extinguishing lines with respiratory protection, the fires could be brought under control in time and then extinguished. Fortunately, no one was injured in the fires, only light smoke.
