Numerous injuries – the series of serious skiing accidents in Tyrol never stops

On Friday there were again some collisions and injuries on the ski slopes of Tyrol. Some of the victims were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

It all started shortly before 11 a.m. with a collision between two Dutch women aged twelve and 50 in Tux. The two collided in the Rastkogel ski area. While the 12-year-old was unharmed, the 50-year-old had to be flown by air ambulance to the Innsbruck clinic with serious injuries.

Two seriously injured in Sölden
Moments later, the emergency services also had to turn out in the ski area of ​​Sölden. A 19-year-old Pole and a 43-year-old Briton collided with each other at the Giggijoch. The young woman suffered a head injury and was taken to MedAlp Sölden. The Briton suffered a serious chest injury and was airlifted to Zams Hospital.

Snowboarder unknown
The identity of a snowboarder who drove into the Tiefenbachferner just before 2 p.m. on a 22-year-old Dutchman is still unclear. The snowboarder collided with the skier just before the intersection with the blue run 39. After first aid, the 22-year-old was seriously injured and taken to MedAlp Sölden by the rescue team.

The collision between a 14-year-old Dutch woman and a 62-year-old German woman in the Zillertal Arena also ended with a serious injury. The two collided at the intersection between runways 39 and 40. The German had to be flown to Schwaz hospital.
