The loot amounted to only 30 euros: two young robbers threatened two girls (16 and 17) on the Domplein in Linz with a 20 centimeter long knife. The victims were in shock.
At 10:30 PM on Easter Sunday, a 16-year-old from the Linz-Land district and a 17-year-old from the Wels-Land district stopped a police patrol on Herrenstrasse in Linz. The two girls stated, visibly upset, that they had just been threatened by two young men. The patrol picked up the girls to look for the perpetrators.
20 cm pocket knife
The uninjured victims also stated that the two young perpetrators stole 30 euros with a pocket knife about 20 cm long. After a failed search in the area, the two victims were taken to the Landhaus police station for victim and witness questioning. The parents of the two were notified and the girls were collected by the police station after questioning.
