Since there was nothing “warm” on the table, a Turk panicked in Vienna’s Penzing district on Wednesday night…
Apparently with a growling stomach, a 29-year-old Turk came home from work in the evening – and found an empty dining table in the apartment on Linzer Strasse. His wife had not cooked anything for him for unknown reasons. Which made the “starving” man angry.
One word led to another and the quarrel became more and more intense – until the situation finally escalated: the suspect became more and more aggressive, according to the testimony of his frightened other half.
police arrived
Frightened, the woman alerted her angry husband and threatened to call the police if he didn’t calm down. The 29-year-old eventually panicked and threatened to kill his wife. Which the suspect vehemently denied to the uniformed officers who arrived moments later. Nevertheless, the officials temporarily arrested the Turk and issued a ban on entering and approaching him.
