A black car, which drove towards Salzburg at speeds of up to 225 km/h on Monday evening, called the police on the Westautobahn (A1) on the spot. The 20-year-old driver ignored attempts by Sattledt officials to stop and continued driving. The civilian patrol could hardly follow the Romanians from Schwanenstadt. According to the police, his reckless driving endangered many other road users.
to arrest
Only when the 20-year-old left the Autobahn near Laakirchen was he stopped on Gmundener Straße (B144) and briefly detained. He is suspected of endangering his physical safety and of numerous administrative offences.
Without driver’s license
