Large-scale police action Thursday evening in the middle of a ski area in the Tyrolean Unterland: At a ski hut in Westendorf (Kitzbühel district), an employee (31) is said to have threatened several colleagues with a knife and a gun. Around 2 a.m., the escalation broke out in the ski lodge. The 31-year-old employee, who was heavily intoxicated according to the police, allegedly threatened a total of five of his colleagues aged 27 to 54 with a knife and a firearm. “The five employees were able to get to safety in a room. In addition to the police patrols in Westendorf and Kirchberg, the Cobra task force has also been informed because of the danger report,” the detectives said.
Suspect arrested in bed
Since the hut is not accessible by vehicles, the emergency services had to be taken to the crime scene using the gondola lift. When officers arrived on scene, the situation had calmed down. Because: “The 31-year-old suspect was found sleeping in his bed and arrested by the Cobra agents.”
This enraged the drunkard again. Upon his arrest, he behaved extremely aggressively and injured himself.
