On Thursday at 2.07 pm, the professional fire brigade of Graz received an alarm: there was a fire in a house on Glaserweg. Four people managed to escape, but were injured.
When the 34 Florianis arrived at the site shortly after 2 p.m., the flames had already flared up from the ground floor. Four residents were able to escape from the house, but one was seriously injured and the others slightly injured.
Animal died at the vet
The firefighters, who rushed forward with heavy respiratory protection, also to search the building for other people who might be present, were able to save a cat; unfortunately the animal later died at the vet. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are under investigation.
