A 42-year-old woman from Salzburg contacted a psychic named “Mari” through a social platform. The woman from Salzburg made 58 transfers in five-digit euros.
The Salzburg resident had already contacted the psychic in November 2021. “Mari” continued to ask the Salzburger for transfers over time. In total, the 42-year-old paid a five-figure euro amount in 58 transfers to the alleged psychic.
The last transaction should be a bracelet seized at customs. Diamonds were hidden inside. The psychic threatened the Salzburg woman that she would be arrested if she did not pay. The victim subsequently filed a report.
