A visit to the sauna now had an aftermath in court for a Tyrolean (36). She allegedly engineered a rape and falsely accused a 34-year-old in front of the police. Only the two involved know what really happened in the steam room. Because there were no witnesses.
Actually, the woman from the Tyrolean Oberland just wanted to warm up in the sauna on a cool day in May and after a few units in the gym. But what happened next could not really be clarified even during a trial at the Innsbruck court.
Unclear what happened in the steam room
The woman said she was raped in a steam bath by a 34-year-old whom she had never met before. He spoke of a brief, consensual love affair. “He asked me outright if I was using sex toys. Then he attacked me,” explained the 36-year-old, almost collapsing in the negotiating room, panting. “Nonsense! She approached me because I had to explain some fitness equipment to her,” the man contradicted.
He deeply regrets that they got intimate for a short time. “But she took the initiative,” said the 34-year-old.
Loving mobile phone messages
But the 36-year-old went to the police days later and filed a complaint. Loving mobile messages, however, cast doubt on the version of the rape and so the woman, who previously received psychological care, ended up in court for making false statements. There, the 36-year-old was acquitted when in doubt.
