In Lambach in Upper Austria, a 35-year-old probably no longer toasts his 23-year-old neighbour. Because he had been drinking and crashed the older man’s “borrowed” car on an illegal trip.
You may forget something when you visit your neighbour. But usually the finder brings this thing back to you. In Lambach, however, a 23-year-old thought “why not” when he found the neighbor’s (35) forgotten car key in his apartment.
Traveling without a driver’s license
It may also be that the alcohol content of 1.48 made the young man cheerful, at least he got behind the wheel of the van and took a 22-year-old friend for a ride. Perhaps it wouldn’t have hurt if the 23-year-old had practiced on the snowy road before the tour, as he didn’t have a driver’s license either.
Because during an overtaking maneuver in Stadl-Paura he lost control of the car, crashed into a garden fence, after which the car was thrown onto the roof.
The 23-year-old reported
So the car stopped on the other side of the B 144. The young driver was virtually unharmed, but his passenger had to be taken to hospital by the Red Cross. The cleanup took two and a half hours and the 23-year-old had to deal with advertisements and trouble from the neighbours.
