The OSI chiefs of Donostialdea decide to continue the protests

Date:

They met in the meeting and decided to wait for Osakidetza to make progress this week on the principles of agreement reached at last Wednesday’s meeting.

The heads of the OSI service in Donostialdea decided to continue the mobilizations at the meeting they held this morning at Donostia Hospital. At the same time, it was decided to wait for Osakidetza’s general management to make progress in developing the principles of agreement reached at last week’s meeting.

As explained by Dr. Adolfo López de Munain, this meeting took place in a good mood and it was possible to verify that there was a principle of oral agreement on the diagnosis and possible solutions in most of the points to be discussed. However, in this morning’s meeting it was decided to wait for Osakidetza to sign the minutes recording the agreements reached to permanently suspend mobilizations.

The principles of agreement included the affiliation of the Oncology with OSI Donostialdea, the solution to the lack of help that can be deduced from the lack of profiles of the OPE and changes in the merit scale.

Likewise, they recognize that resolving some points will require months of work and in this sense they approved in meeting to set up three committees that will be dedicated to different areas: human resources, the purpose of which is to guarantee the necessary personnel in the OR IF; the quality, which will analyze the improvement of patient care, and the clinical care, which will be in charge of working on future strategies.

The heads of service are of the opinion that a more transversal structure will be achieved with the formation of these three committees.
