The Labor Inspectorate has imposed a new fine on the multinational Glovo for a total of ƒ €57 million for employing bogus self-employed persons and migrants without a work permit.
As confirmed by Ministry of Labor sources, these are actions carried out by the Labor and Social Security Inspectorate (ITSS) in Glovo Madrid.
The sanctions proposals put forward by Cadena Ser respond to two irregularities.
On one side 7022 lack of registration of workers in social security for an amount of 32.9 million to which is added the Settlement Act, which corresponds to the lack of contribution from these workers in the general social security system and amounted to 19 million.
In addition, it has been sanctioned with 5.2 million for irregular work from foreigners without the corresponding work permita measure that affects 813 people.
In total, Glovo in Spain collects 205.3 million in fines (infringement records and settlement records) affecting 37,348 employees.
