That literally could have been an eye-opener: A 14-year-old boy fell off the bus stop on the roadway in Imst, Tyrol late Tuesday afternoon in the course of “stupidity” and was hit by a bus. The teenager escaped with minor injuries.
The accident happened around 5:15 p.m., according to police. “The 14-year-old was waiting for the bus at the Imst bus station when he was fooling around was accidentally bumped with his friend,” the detectives said.
The boy then lost his balance. “He stumbled into the roadway and was hit by the oncoming bus.”
Taken to hospital by ambulance
The boy suffered minor injuries, police said. After first aid at the scene of the accident, he was taken by ambulance to Zams Hospital for further examination.
