After a mysterious find, the Innsbruck police are calling for the public’s help: a broken safe was discovered in the Tyrolean capital at the beginning of this year. Where this comes from is currently unclear.
On January 3, the broken safe was found on Egerdachstraße in the east of the city. “The safe should have been there on the days around the turn of the year,” said the police.
Hoping for clues
Based on the circumstances, it can be assumed that the safe originates from a criminal offense. “However, so far it has not been assigned to a crime scene.” Based on photos, the management now hopes that the rightful owner or possible witnesses will come forward.
