A 54-year-old man was dragged several hundred meters by a car in Henndorf am Wallersee in the Salzburg region of Flachgau on Saturday night and was seriously injured. A friend drove him home and helped him out. Due to the heavy rain, the 45-year-old driver hastened to get back on the road. His passenger may have become trapped in the car.
The man was only able to free himself from the vehicle after a few hundred meters. Witnesses who noticed the accident came to his aid and called the rescue service.
Lenker did not notice the accident
The 54-year-old was taken to the accident hospital in Salzburg by the rescue team. Police found the driver at home. Apparently he did not notice the accident.
