Hundreds of relatives, friends and companions said goodbye to former ÖFB team player Volkan Kahraman on Friday evening. As reported in detail, the 43-year-old was shot in the head on the street last Wednesday, and the perpetrator – an old friend of the victim – committed suicide.

Kahraman started his career at Austria Wien but switched to the Dutch professional league at a young age. He slipped three times on the jersey of the Austrian national team.
