In Navarra, on the other hand, home sales fell by 0.5%.

Home sales rose last year in the Basque Autonomous Community (CAV) 9.8% closing 23,814 operations. In Navarreon the other hand, registered a slight decrease of 0.5%.
According to data released by the National Institute of Statistics (IN), the CAV closed the year with an annual increase in turnover thanks to the fact that December was the only month in which the real estate market contracted (-12.3%). For the rest of the month, sales grew and even registered increases above 20%, such as in October when sales increased 24.6% compared to the same month of 2021 and August, with 21% more.
During the full year, 23,814 homes were sold, a figure not reached since 2011 when 30,772 sales transactions were registered. Most of the apartments bought last year were from second-hand (19,934), as only 3,880 came from new construction.
In addition, the vast majority of operations corresponded to the free marketwith 21,663 sales, compared to 2,151 apartments that sort of official protection.
On the other hand, the sales price of homes in the Basque Country rose to 2,932 euros/m2. In Navarre, on the other hand, there is a slight price decrease from 1,768 euros/m2 in 2021 to 1,750 euros/m2 in 2022.
